YEAR
4: The fourth year of the LEAP program is for those who decide to apprentice to the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path. These advanced teachings lead to refinement of who you really are and of how impeccably you can live. Teachings and experiences will be designed based upon individual and collective need. An important component of the Life Walk is the ability to hold one’s space in the physical. The year will focus on challenging the physical to stop energy leaks, learn how to gain and hold power and strengthen the container for spirit. Completion of third year is required to advance to fourth year. WARNING! Ceremonies are dangerous. They change you! They allow you to find your natural self! How often do we meet? Each year of the LEAP program consists of four weekends and one weeklong ceremonial experience. Weekends comprise Friday night, all day Saturday (with a dinner break), Saturday night, and all day Sunday, finishing at 5 p.m. Each weekend consists of teachings, experiential exercises, small group workings and ceremonies. Assignments will be given to you between weekends to test and help you utilize the knowledge until it becomes body knowing. Each program year will spend a week in nature. What’s that about? The Ceremonial Week is an opportunity to apply and integrate the knowledge learned in the weekend sessions in the greatest experiential learning arena of all: nature! The gateway ceremonial process of this path is designed to challenge you to step away from what you think you know and engage with nature’s knowledge, to cry for a vision as you seek your inner strength. Speak to the ancestors as you sit in nature and become a part of her. Hear the answers to your questions as you quest
